Droploop is a free multiplayer extraction shooter. You drop from a ship in orbit onto a ruined world, collect as much loot as you can carry, and try to get out alive before time runs out. Make it out and you keep what you found. Some of what's down there lives there. Some of it dropped in after you. It's all hostile.
Free to play. Squads of up to four, or go alone. No install and no signup to start. Needs a desktop browser with a keyboard and mouse.
A raid in three steps
A raid is one trip down to the surface.
Drop
Choose where to land and ride a drop pod down to planetside impact. The countdown starts as you drop.
Loot and fight
Search crates and bodies for weapons, ammo and parts. Fight off the locals and other players to keep what you find.
Extract
Reach an extraction point before the countdown ends and you leave with everything you collected. Die first and you lose what you were carrying.
Player vs. Player vs. Environment
Every site has its own defenders, and other players are after the same loot. Anyone not on your squad is hostile.
Squad up or go solo
Team up with up to three friends. You drop in together and land together. You can also go in alone.
Take it or make it
Loot weapons and ammo, or break down what you find into parts and craft your own at a workbench. Repair worn weapons with kits between raids.
Your ship
Your base is a ship in orbit above the planet. Between raids you keep your gear there, craft, and choose where to drop next.

Is it free?
Yes. There's no payment and no subscription.
What do I need?
A desktop browser with a keyboard and mouse. Or download the Windows or Linux client.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. Parties of up to four drop together. You can also play alone.
What happens if I die?
You lose what you were carrying. If you drop with empty slots, the ship fills them with basic disposable gear, so you can always play again.
Is it finished?
Not yet. It's in open beta and changes often. The release notes on the blog say what changed.
What is an extraction shooter?
